Room Assignments

After the party last night, all squires would have been directed to their own private rooms, and told that it would be theirs for their duration of their squiring period (and longer, if they chose not to move into the wing of the Castle designed for whichever sect they end up with). The squire rooms are all located in the same wing, around the corner from the large dining hall.

Rooms do not have their own bathrooms (there are two 'shared' baths amongst the wing), but are otherwise very posh, and fully furnished already. Each has a very distinctive style and flavor, and they all hold a great deal of personality, as if many of the previous inhabitants left their own mark on the decor. Some even left personal items there (if your character would go snooping around looking at things in detail at some point, just ping me about it), either on this post or ... wherever. Each room has a key and can be locked from inside or out.

Elijah's Room
Squire Wing
Despite the picture here, contains only one bed. The stained glass windows do not actually let in any light, and feature only images of crowns - no religious symbolism. :|

The walls are marble and wood paneling. There's a functioning mini bar, a writing desk, and a tiny side room for entertaining, with a nice comfy couch. There are also mirrors on one of the walls, which make the room seem more spacious. Floors are tiled.

Buffy's Room
Squire Wing
Religious murals cover the walls, and there are a ton of crosses worked into the decor in here. The bed is a canopied queen size, and there's a lot of space in the room. A dresser is set against one wall, along with several fancy chairs. The door on the right opens into a closet, that contains a chest of drawers.
The ceiling in this room are incredibly high, and hung with chandeliers. Floors are carpeted.

Sven's Room
Squire Wing
With big spacious windows that look out over the front lawn of the castle, the room has a very airy feel, but the furniture is done in dark wood that looks ominously carved. The bed is incredibly large and there's a velvet lined bench, table and multiple chairs all around, and a bureau, though not a lot of actual space to ... do cartwheels around in. Murals line the top of the walls, which seem to depict scenes from the Knights' history. Lots of dragon imagery. Floors have nice rugs over them.

Sawyer's Room
Squire Wing
Low exquisitely patterned ceilings, cutesy wallpaper, a few grandmother looking armchairs, and a very very large bed are all prominent features. There are two large windows that overlook the castle lawn, but both have heavy red drapes over them, which can be withdrawn at any time. There's also ample closet space, a bedside table, and a coffee table. Flooring appears to be stone but there a few rugs down.

Ethan's Room
Squire Wing
There's something just plain eerie about this room, and it's one of the smaller bedrooms assigned to the squires. The wood is all dark, and paneling and carpets done in dark red. It looks a little bit like the Phantom of the Opera's cave. A scene of two lovers is painted on one wall, scenes of saints on the other. Heavy curtains can be drawn across the bed for privacy. A bureau with several strange and old looking statues is crammed against one wall, and there's a small mahogany wardrobe, and tiny writing desk. The door to enter the room is particularly small, and while the chandelier is now electrical, it looks like whoever lived here last preferred to use candlelight, judging by the number of candelabras chilling around. Floors are swankily carpeted.

Martha's Room
Squire Wing
With a nice big fireplace, an orange-and-red color scheme, Renaissance artwork on the walls, and a large picture window across from the canopied bed, this is definitely a rich looking room. There's also a table, two bedside tables, multiple chairs, a closet, bookshelf, and jewelry box. Floor is nicely carpeted with really loud patterns.

Vanille's Room
Squire Wing
PATTERNS. PATTERNS EVERYWHERE. No, but really. The room is a riot of them, but it still looks bright and cheery, and the bed is super soft. There's a window seat, lots of tables, desks (even a fancy old writing desk), dressers, and seating (WITH A PINK COUCH). There's also an old looking grandfather clock, antique mirror, and wardrobe. Flooring is carpeted.

Katniss' Room
Squire Wing
Wood flooring, dark wood furniture, and bright white walls make up her room, which has a spacious feel to it even if it isn't the size of some others. There are no closets - just bureaus and dressers, and two big windows that look out over the front lawn of the castle. There are a few decorative figurines, lamps and even a candelabra.

Merlin's Room
Squire Wing
With very tall ceilings, this room tends to make everything inside it look like it's in miniature. There's a lot of empty space in the room, covered by rugs over the wood floors. A little seating area with a couch and two comfy chairs, a dresser and two night tables, plus another table in the middle of the room compose the furniture, and there's also one closet to the left of the twin bed. A magnificent chandelier and various wall sconces provide lighting.

Matthew's Room
Squire Wing
Most of the room is actually taken up by the lavish king sized bed and stool at the foot of it. The room is designed in rich gold and dark red hues, and the furniture is all mahogany. Wood floors are covered by one large rug. There are 2 night stands, an end table, dresser with mirror, and one closet against the right hand wall.

Andrea's Room
Squire Wing
This room is dramatically colored in blues and silvers, the traditional colors of the Knighthood. There are also dragon symbols worked into the bedframe, along with mermaids and other nautical imagery. Yep. Mermaids. Even the chandelier is blue, and heavy blue curtains hang against the window wall.

There are two dressers and two mirrors within, and one closet. Floors are wood, covered by a blue and black rug.

Watson's Room
Squire Wing
A very spacious room with two intense tapestries framing a very dramatic and large red canopy bed. A portrait of a woman on the right hand wall look over everything with a mysterious smile on her face, though she is not a recognizable figure. A writing desk, four chairs, fireplace and wardrobe are present, along with several Ming vases. Floors are wood, covered by a decorative rug.

Riddick's Room
Squire Wing
Red, gold, and silver dominate this room, with image of tiny cherubs hanging out all over on the ceiling.

A grandfather clock, a bunch of tiny stools in lieu of chairs, a bureau, and fireplace make up the furniture, but mostly it's just large empty space. Curtains draw across the entire 'bed' alcove behind the columns, in order to create extra privacy / darkness.

The ceiling is a ridiculous riot of patterns, and all the walls are striped and patterned. Floors are patterned wood.

Arthur's Room
Squire Wing
A room fit for a King, and no one was surprised. A huge wall length mural depicts a giant scene of battle behind the intricately designed bedframe, that includes the English coat of arms, a bunch of unicorns (because Wynn knows how much he loves unicorns), and dragons and crowns, o mai. Several chair, bureaus and dressers are in the main room, along with lots of old artifacts left here from... someone. A beautiful chandelier hangs from the ceiling, and various scenes are carved into each ceiling panel. The room connects to a small private parlor, complete with more comfortable couches and beautiful tables.

Chiaki's Room
Squire Wing
Contains the most gigantic bed ever. Seriously. Maybe Wynn is calling her fat. There's a nice little couchy thing at the foot of the bed, a desk and several chairs, dressers and side tables, and doors that open directly to the outside. The curtains can be pulled across the doors, which latch from the inside. Lighting is modern and the floor is carpeted. A classy chandelier hangs from the ceiling.

Haymitch's Room
Squire Wing
With ample space for falling down, this room is probably sensory overload, but then again, Haymitch is used to Capitol fashions so... he can deal with it. Green and beige are the predominant colors. There's a fireplace, lots and lots of chairs for all that entertaining he will obviously do.... and a wardrobe. Plus an incredibly ostentatious chandelier and lots of crap that the previous owner decorated the room with.

Rayna's Room
Squire Wing
Another ostentatiously decorated room, with a dramatic canopy bed. Most of the room is done in gold, with floral patterns in the bed and tapestries on the walls. A small golden balustrade separates the bed, dresser and a seat from the rest of the room, which is spacious.
Floors are wooden, and images of various knights from the past decorate the walls and ceilings. Not to mention that marble bust of somebody on the mantle...

Lear's Room
Squire Wing
Red and gold make up the majority of the room's color scheme, and a large rug covers the marble floor. The canopy can be pulled closed around the bed for additional privacy, and the royal coat of arms is on the wall at the head of the bed. A strange portrait of a woman in ghostly white hangs above the fireplace. Furnishings include several leisure chairs, small tables, a dresser with mirror, and wardrobe.

Clark's Room
Squire Wing
The room is seafoam green.

Big canopy bed, chandelier, pictures of people he's never heard of on the walls in big gold frames, a ~globe of the world~, fireplace, wardrobe, and large mirror, plus lots of chairs.

And a mini step ladder for climbing into bed. That detail is my favorite.

Morgan's Room
Squire Wing
Why do you have to go down a few steps to get into the room? Maybe it has some deep religious significance that's been lost through the ages. The room is a peaceful mix of beige and greens, very simply furnished, but with an adjoining private bathroom. One of the only squire rooms in the whole castle to get this amenity so ENJOY IT, dude. Mirror, wardrobe, windows to the outside, tile flooring, what do you want from me here.

Thoster's Room
Squire Wing
There's a definite pimp vibe going on in here. The room might be small, but it's still lavishly furnished and the deep red and gold colors scream Turkish forbidden delight or something. There are even silver candelabras hanging around for mood lighting. Yep.

Two sexy lounging chairs complete the look, and there's a few end tables, a wardrobe, and of course, a few mirrors. Including one on the ceiling.

Scout's Room
Squire Wing
While this room is also deep red and gold, it looks a little classier than Thoster's pad. The bed is large, firm, but comfortable, and takes up a lot of room in the chamber, however you can actually step behind the tapestry hanging behind it to a space for changing, etc. There's a few end tables and a small dark wood bureau, along with some mirrors.

Floors are tiled, and the room has modern lighting, as well as a large window to let in natural light.Including one on the ceiling.

Deadpool's Room
Squire Wing
A strange study in inconsistency, the room sports a bizarre mixture of colors and patterns. Wooden beams cross the ceiling, the floors are tiled, and walls are largely bricked. There's a large ornate fireplace, lime green bed, purple throne shaped chair, yellow chaise, desk and chair.

Soo-Jin's Room
Squire Wing
With light pink walls, and mauve carpeting striped with white, the room is distinctively feminine. Most of the fancy furnishing matches the pink coloring, and there's a fireplace and small canopy bed. The large wardrobe features full length mirrors on the doors. A few classy pictures of landscapes hang on the walls, and there's a small chandelier.

Jo's Room
Squire Wing
This warmly lit room has hardwood floors covered in Persian rugs, white walls, and gold colored drapes and furniture. The bed is spacious and canopied, with a fainting couch at one end. There's another comfortable sofa-chair, and two wooden chairs at the vanity. A larger mirror is covered with a cloth in one corner. Two large front facing windows allow in plenty of sun. There are two end tables, and a large number of portraits on the wall: all of which appear to be of the same woman, some sketched, some painted. In some, she is posed, in others she's engaged in various tasks, such as playing the piano.

Miles' Room
Squire Wing
This bizarre-looking room is done in black, white, and gold, with a predominant sense of yellow thanks to the patterned walls, and bright, canopied bed. There's a small black chest of drawers, set of chairs, large mirror, and large round table. A strange beaded lattice pattern dominates the domed ceiling, looking almost webbed. The carpet is a pattern of decorative flowers. A painting by Carvaggio of a mother and child hangs beside the bed.

Tybalt's Room
Squire Wing
This room seems almost to have been built for an invalid: the blue, red, and gold bed doubles as a couch like some kind of super-classy futon, and most of the furniture is very low. Even the chandelier hangs low, and there's a tiny footstool to get up into the bed/couch. With plain, yellowed walls, and a nice thick rug on the floor, there's very little art in the room, aside from a decorative vase and portrait of some Russian dude high up on the wall. An elegant high backed chair is flanked by three smaller comfortable seats. On a dark wooden table sits an old cuckoo clock.

Gold's Room
Dragon's Fire Wing
I feel like the picture just... speaks for itself, here.

Red, purple, gold, and black are the dominant colors here, and the unusual bed is set up on a round purple dais. The best part? If you hit a switch, IT ROTATES. Austin Powers would love this room. The bed is canopied internally with gold, and tiny golden tassels hang from the red exterior. There's a spacious writing desk and leopard print chair. A purple leopard print couch and red and leopard print square seat. A large mirror hangs on one wall. This room also features its own adjacent private bathroom, with a leather couch in it. The walls are striped red and gold and the floors are carpeted in a hot mess.

Sara's Room
Squire Wing
This charming little room, with its pink carpet, mauve and beige curtains, and patterned walls is open, airy, and feminine. There are couple of comfortable chairs by the window, two wooden tables, two small side dressers, and a blue footer at the end of the bed. A chandelier hangs from the ceiling, and there's a multitude of unnecessary lamps since light filters into this room magnificently from outside. There's also a walk in closet with a window in it. Seriously. And a small 'entry' room with another pair of chairs, that's able to be closed off from the bedroom for private conversations.

Skye's Room
Squire Wing
With its yellow brick walls and green and white tiled floors, offset by white Roman-style columns, there's something visually unsettling about this room. The low yellow and white striped bed sports a very large mirror at the head of it and a slate gray leather couch at the foot. There's a tiny table, small side dresser, and mid-sized writing desk in dark wood, along with two uncomfortable chairs for entertaining. Strangest, perhaps, is the art in this room: two portraits of old-timey gentlemen on either side of the bed, neither recognizable, two small paintings of the British countryside, a somewhat salacious marble statue of a goddess atop the writing desk, behind which is a painting of a woman in listless repose on a bed in Classical style, and yet another painting, the height of the entire wall, behind two yellow curtains on the far wall. It depicts what seems to be a Spanish conquistador in full armor.

Charming's Room
Squire Wing
This opulently spacious chamber has an eye-catching oval ceiling that serves to visually expand the room. A queen sized bed with a delicately designed railing is complemented by a small loveseat at its foot. The room has an alcove with a writing desk and lamp, as well as entertaining area across from it, with sofas in front of the large windows that look out over the front lawn of the castle. Either side of the bed sports a dresser and mirror. The flooring is patterned carpet.

Violet's Room
Squire Wing
A classy, elegant room in baby blue, gold, and creme, it looks the part of a castle bedchamber. A dramatically canopied bed, surrounded by a banister is the centerpiece, and it also affords a fireplace, multitude of benches, chairs, and sofas, two massive mirrors on opposite sides of the room, and a large armoire. Two huge vases weight the symmetry of the room, each worked in gold with battle scenes depicting Knights of the Round. A strange mural on the ceiling in dark colors illustrates a distraught woman being borne out out of the pit by cherubim. The floors are marble.

Robin's Room
Squire Wing
A classy but petite room in blue and gold, with hardwood floors and creme colored walls. The bed is a bit short, and doubles as a couch. A writing desk is engraved with scenes from Greek mythology, and topped with a little statue of an eagle. There are three firmly upholstered chairs, a candelabra, and several marble busts around the room of Greek gods.

Kyomi's Room
Squire Wing
This room is rose-colored, with a wide pink bed canopied over by a red tapestry. A wide trunk at the end of the bed serves as the 'dresser' for the room. There's two chairs, a side table, and more room available behind the bed, in a sort of 'sitting' or dressing area. Decorative sconces and hanging tasseled lamps tastefully light the room, and there's a small statue of the goddess Mystra on the side table.

Amrita's Room
Squire Wing
In rich blues and golds, there's something mysterious and alluring about this room. The bed is set in an alcove (not pictured) to the left, behind hanging blue curtains, and there's a tasteful fireplace topped with a large gold-framed mirror. The room itself is littered with blue chairs and sofas. An expensive chandelier hangs down from the domed ceilings.

Baal's Room
Squire Wing
Gold, green, and red are the predominant colors in this room that has almost a Middle Eastern flair with its choices of patterns. It's not particularly spacious, due to the large bed, but there's room for a couple of chairs, a vanity, and plenty of closet space through the white doors built to look like part of the walls. The floors are tiled. Lighting comes from small hanging lamps.

Dimitri's Room
Squire Wing
A more modern looking room in the castle, there's something about it that feels like a hotel, a bit. A green and white bed, unassuming patterned carpet, classy fireplace flanked by two green armchairs and a little table, and matching bedside tables are the primary features, although this is also one of the only rooms in the castle that has a TV (!) in it. There's a portrait above the fireplace of a winter time nature sunrise. Closer examination reveals it to be a painting done of the woods behind the castle.

Elena's Room
Squire Wing
This bright and cheery room is particularly airy given the large floor to ceiling windows that open onto the front lawn of the castle. A black wire framed bed with cozy white covers and plaid pillows takes up only a part of the room, at the foot of which is a small plaid bench. There are two very comfortable paisley couches near the windows and a small table. Many fake plants adorn the room to lend to the 'outdoor' feel. A side table hosts a lamp and a picture of a man from what appears to be the 1980s or so on one side of the bed, and there's a second with drawers on the other. There's a series of four pictures above the bed, all of different decorative goblets.

Reynard's Room
Squire Wing
Hardwood floors covered with a tasteful blue rug and patterned gold and blue walls frame this room, with a gold barred single bed, and more tables than chairs to go around. A full length mirror on one wall, Ming vase in the corner, and chandelier are some of the notable features. There's also a marble silhouette of a woman hanging in a frame far above the bed. Two squishy blue chairs offer the only place to sit.

Phineas' Room
Squire Wing
This room has a warm color scheme and is floral as hell. There's weird grassy shit on the walls, flowers on the mini-table (along with some pictures and a photo album of flowers), and some weird floral painting in front of the fireplace -- it may be begging you to set it on fire. There's also another painting above the fireplace. At least it's of a ghost and not flowers. Some swank ass royal crest thing is over the bed and some curtains are around it you can use to close if you're going to have sex. And chairs all over the place so people can wait while you have sex behind the bed curtains.

Kenzi's Room
Squire Wing
This room is guaranteed to make you feel like a prince. Or just Prince. Either way. There's a tiled wall along with the prince sign behind the bed, accented by the golden lamps on the nightstands. The comforter is what would happen if sleeping bags were silky and luxurious. You may think there's a shortage of pillows on the bed, but that's just because the last person who used the room left them on the carpeted floor (they were also satisfied, at least.) There are huge greek pillars in each corner of the room, and potted plants for funsies.

Aedan's Room
Squire Wing
This room is what happens when gold and maroon make bad life choices together. At least the stone wall behind the bed is really swank. The room comes with a really long maroon bed (it's not just the photo perspective -- the bed really is ridiculously big for the room, not gonna lie.) Also included is a mirror, multiple nightstands, and a hideous gold seat pillow thing. The floor is hardwood with fancy maroon and gold rugs covering it. Yellow lighting is everywhere, which looks awkward and hideous whenever the sun is shining through the giant fucking window. And, in case you can't make friends with the other knights and have to spend all your time crying alone in your room, at least there's a potted plant to keep you company.

Myrilandel's Room
Dragon's Light Wing
PUG PILLOWS. THIS ROOM HAS PUG PILLOWS!! And some other stuff, but mostly pug pillows. If you stop looking at the pug pillows long enough to look at the rest of the room, you'll notice the pale blue color scheme. Black and white pictures of people doing random shit adorn the space behind the bed and the nightstand. There's a small table next to the fireplace with a tea set so you can have tea parties with your pug pillows. Blue and white flowers are all over the place, matching the color scheme. The hella swank chandelier hanging from the ceiling, floral patterned bed, and neatly organized desk for writing shit are also nice features of this room.

Finnick's Room
Dragon's Tongue Wing
Are those things all over the bed pineapples? flowers? Vomit? The world may never know. In addition to the what we'll call pineapples pattern all over the bed and love seat in front of it, the room has pictures of dead people from the Revolutionary War with maroon walls that match the velvety maroon bedspread. The giant gaudy ass mirror over the fireplace matches the giant gaudy ass chandelier hanging from the ceiling. And, in case you feel like reading, there's a table full of books in front of the the pineapple vomit-colored love seat. (Oh and there's a chair in the corner, perfect for creepers who like to watch people sleep!)

Snow's Room
Squire Wing
The large windows cast a welcoming light, adding a brightness to the otherwise neutral green tones of the room, with thick curtains to block out the sun if the need ever arose. By the window is a modern glass table with an elegantly simple lamp to cast light on a good book or research done there. Twin chairs, on either side, provide a comfortable resting place and the perfect spot to watch the outside world. The large and heavily pillowed bed sits on a mahogany and metal frame, softened by smooth finishes and simple curving designs. The bed itself beckons any who lie in it into a deep sleep, with a soft downy mattress to sink into and smooth, cream-colored satin sheets, decorated with a soft swirling pattern. Dense, vine-covered carpet on the floor is soft underfoot and welcoming for barefoot wandering even on colder nights. On either side of the bed, matching bedside cabinets made of hardwood and topped with a glass surface. They provide a deceptively large amount of storage space space for their size. The modernized lamps on either cabinet provide a warmer source of light and the surface itself is the perfect place for an alarm clock to help combat that sleeping spell the bed is sure to cast on its inhabitants. Above the bed are a trio of paintings of various houses, the one on the left strangely obstructed by a large tree. There is a vase of flowers waiting on one of the cabinets, freshly placed and still sweet to smell.

Klaus' Room
Squire Wing
Some might be tempted to call this room 'busy', but really, they would just be jealous. Opulent is the word we'll go for here. With thick, golden trimmed draping on the windows and bed, a diverse collection of mirrors and chairs of every size and shape that could possibly be needed, what more could you want in a room? The mirrors give the room the impression of being even larger than it is, and provide ample location to make sure inhabitants are still looking their best. With wooden paneling, the walls of the room have plenty of space for the subtle décor, interrupted in strips of purple and golden cream wallpaper. A roll-top desk against the far wall provides the perfect workspace for getting some writing done, or perhaps a self-portrait thanks to the thoughtful placement of a golden framed mirror. The hard-backed wooden chair soft enough to make sitting comfortable, but firm enough to keep inhabitants from falling asleep. On the other side a short, round table makes the perfect setting for a stack of books or spreading out papers on. Two lounge chairs take up the space nearest the fireplace, the mantle thoughtfully set with an ornate candle fixture. A large symbol covers the carpet near the bed, resembling a royal seal of some form with purple and gold colors. The bed itself is large and covered in heavy gold and white blankets. That chandelier looks pretty secure. It probably won't fall on the bed while someone is sleeping.

Alec's Room
Squire Wing
Like something out of a history book, this stone-walled room is vaulted high up to the ceiling, lined on either side with decorative stone columns. The floor is covered in Perisian rugs to counteract the cold stone tiling, with matching tapestries of gold and blue hanging from the walls. Thin veiled curtains hang between the columns and sway with the movement of air in the room while light filters down from the ceiling in a spotted hexagon, moving along the floor and walls with the sun's movement across the sky. The large, four-poster bed is set up on a tiered platform in the back center of the room. Enough to make anyone feel like a king. The curtains surrounding the bed may not provide much in the way of privacy, but the golden striping gives them an expensive feeling. On either side of the bed is a painting of a man and a woman. The man kneeling on a plush red cushion, appears to be attempting a conversation with the disdainful women across the room. Pity she doesn't seem terribly interested in what he has to say.

Ruvaen's Room
Squire Wing
No one can say this room doesn't have personality. From the sculpted legs and sunflower motifs along the edges to the headboard carving of three men among the trees, the ornate bed in this room is a work of art. The bedspread has an almost Arabian royalty theme. The color is bright enough that is draws the eye straight to it, even among the eclectic diversity of objects to catch the eye on. The chair by the bed has similar carvings in its hard wood frame, placed before a door that is just as richly carved as the headboard. At the foot of the bed is a very rich black chest with a pair of golden swans on the front. Topped with a painting, the inside is lined in red velvet. There is a small fireplace in the corner, just before an inlaid spiral staircase leaving the room. Silver and gold covered fireplace tools rest by a column near the fireplace and a gold framed painting of some religious figure hangs above a shrine like stand for a book, a large decorative axe placed in a stand before it. Along the same wall is a large arch window with a marble half wall to keep it from being fully open. The floor is tiled in a turquoise blue that matches the color of the walls, a large white-cream fur rug in the center. Who doesn't want their very own frightening guard bear rug?

Alaric's Room
Squire Wing
There is definitely an expensive quality to everything in this room. Between the gold detailing and rich, satin blues, this room is fit for a king. The trim and decor is done in a golden finish that brings a new dimension to what would otherwise be fairly plain white walls. A golden framed mirror rests atop the white marble fireplace, with an olden styled glass domed clock resting on the mantle. The child's crib placed before the fireplace sways when set in motion to lull its inhabitants to sleep by the warmth of the fire. Chairs set about the room are softened with plush teal cushioning and soft-tipped feet to avoid scraping the wooden floor tiles. From the walls and chairs to the bed and table, everything in this room is touched with golden details that give it an overall feeling of royalty. There is a a variety of dark wooden furniture for work surface and storage alike, with several tables placed around the room of varying heights and a storage cabinet by the window. Heavy knotted thread holds back heavy blue drapes to let in the light, that look thick enough to block it out when the day's sun is an unwanted companion.

Kyla's Room
Squire Wing
Mother nature herself couldn't complain too much about this room. With beautiful flowering trees and scenery painted on the yellow walls, that match the soft, flower-covered carpet, the room has a welcoming feel right from the offset. The large four poster bed takes up much of one corner of the room, covered in sinfully soft green fabrics and heavy green draped canopy capable of surrounding the bed when extra privacy is desired. The heavy gold tassels that hang from the bed's canopy are matched in the curtains of the same green color. Large, outset windows offer a lot of light into the room to give it a softer feeling. The furniture, like the trim, is done in a soft, pale pink and trimmed with green. Two large and comfortable arm chairs of mahogany are cushioned with a yellow and red floral pattern, and make excellent space for late night lounging.

Dawn's Room
Squire Wing
The tall, openness of this room gives it a more modern feel, despite its slightly dated décor. A vanity table rests before four tall, outset windows, offering a bright and cheery setting for preparing for the days adventures or letting in the morning light. The white and blue striped chair before it is covered in a soft cushion. A sofa-bench at the end of the bed provides a good resting place to comfortably curl up with a book. There is a small fur rug at one side of the bed to counteract cold morning floors on bare feet and a fainting couch of floral patterning in the same pale blue as much of the rest of the room. The beige and blue canopy above the bed provides a focal point in the large room and gives an even larger feel to the bed, dropping down to frame the cloth covered headboard. The bed itself is covered in feather pillows and a light, pale-blue comforter. A golden framed painting shows an open horizon scenery of blue skies to one side of the bed, with a larger painting to the other side. The wall is covered in pale blue and soft pink floral patterning and the floor is covered in smooth white panel. Perfect for doing a late night risky-business slide in your socks.

Sydney's Room
Squire Wing
Themed after a beautiful red songbird, this room is a mix of neutral colors and bright vibrant reds. The pale green bed-frame in the center of the room is covered in a heavy red comforter and more pillows than could ever be necessary (perfect for building a nest?) Framed along the wall by boxed draping of red and green fabrics. Beside the bed, a table holds a shadeless lamp, a strawberry red jewelry box and a bronze statue of a a Ballerina dancing on the tips of her toes. A complex metal chair rests on the other side, framed with curling white vines to form the backs and arms and cushioned in red and gold. Paintings of red songbirds perched on flowering vines take up the walls on either side of the bed, breaking up the plain green of the wall with beige, wooden frames. The paintings themselves are on the wall, framed with painted wood to give it more depth. At the far wall is a short balcony through double-door windows, frames with the same boxed draping as the bed. The short dresser sits in front of a mirror, an ornate wire bird cage resting on its surface between a pair of deep red potted plants. There is a tall, white wardrobe to one side of it for hanging up clothing or impromptu trips to Narnia (That last part was a joke, no Narnia trips guaranteed) A red and gold footstool sits misplaced in the middle of the floor. The lighting for this room is a beautiful chandelier that's decorated with metal flowers and hangs from a ceiling painted with flower covered vines in each corner

Felicity Braddock's Room
Squire Wing
This arched room is so bright and airy it may actually be impossibly to be gloomy in it. Six windows at the far end of the room let in large amounts of light to reflect off of white walls. The walls are decorated with thin tree branches, covered in perching songbirds of various types. The branches reach up to the domed ceiling which is painted to resemble fluffy clouds on a pleasant spring day. From the center of the ceiling hangs a glass chandelier to shine light on the room once the sun has set. The complex wooden tiling of various wood types is softened by a large, square carpet in the center of the room. The table at the farthest end offers four green chairs for sitting down at a game or a group research meeting, while the cream and dark wood couch and chairs offer a more relaxing lounge feel for gatherings across from the white and marbled fireplace. The mantle of the fireplace is topped with a decorative golden clock depicting various woodland animals on a sphere. Nearby a sculpted gold-painted table provides a place for portraits and a lamp for a little extra light. The bed on the wall nearest the door is framed in a dark wood and covered in welcoming cream-colored sheets and pillows with a canopy of drapes to match those framing the windows. Gold vines decorate the pillows and the headboard of the bed depicts birds in flight.

Sebastian's Room
Squire Wing
Modern Style with a warm touch; this earthy toned room takes simplicity and adds a flair of homey decor that keeps the overall feel open and clean, without feeling sterile and cold.

The furniture is sparse, but not lacking. The far wall hides a spacious closet behind sliding brown and beige doors, there's a comfortable but low-laying bed and a cushion-couch, either of which make great places to watch a little entertainment news from. The lazy chair is comfortable without being a strain to sit in and there's a small work desk and chair (not shown) as well. The windows let in plenty of light, but there's warm light lamps for the evening hours, as well.

Lissa's Room
Squire Wing
With stylish wood flooring, pale green walls, and dark wood furniture, this room is classy and bright. Features an end table, with lamp and a few books on Shadow creatures, a large bed with storage at the foot of it, dresser with a tiny upholstered seat, and a very nice wardrobe as well. there's a vase full of flowers and extra pillows, even though the bed already has like forty.

Faye's Room
Dragon's Fire Wing
Fit for a princess, Faye's room is done in goldenrod yellow and accented with gold and dark blue. The hardwood floor is warmed with a neat square rug. A chaise lounge and a chair in the small alcove supply seating, while an ornate golden vanity and two small nightstands round out the furnishings. Two large windows provide plenty of sunlight and a picture of flowers above the bed reflects the flowers strewn about the room.

Diana's Room
Squire Wing
Modern and clean, Diana's room is fit for a teenage girl. The soft shag rug contradicts the clean lines of the rest of the room. Done in shades of purple, it's accented with clean white sheets and furnishings and the silver bed frame. A floral set of paintings act almost as a headboard and the spangly silver chandelier gives the room a youthful, cheerful spark.

Bambi's Room
Squire Wing
In an almost monochromatic theme of black and grey, Bambi's room could pass as the nondescript bachelor pad of any high end thief or forger. A silver chandelier adds light to the huge windows and a layer of black and grey area rugs lends a little warmth to the room along with the fluffy, fluffy blankets. There's some weird art of what I'm pretty sure is a naked man's torso, so enjoy that Bambi. Enjoy.

Attica's Room
Squire Wing
Geometric is the theme of the room. All straight lines and squares, the room is actually quite cozy and warm. A vase of pussy-willows matches the color scheme of a warm chocolate brown and cool cream, accented with charcoal pillows and brief bursts of color in the flowers on the night stand. Twin lamps give the room it's light along with a spray of overhead lighting and a sole window dressed with curtains to match the bedding. Two night stands and a small dresser give storage while a comfortable bench at the foot of the bed rounds out the room.

Taradiddle's Room
Squire Wing
It is green pastures up in this place. A grass green headboard brightens this small room, the same green as a friendly plant in the corner of the room. The soft, fluffy bedding and furnishings are all white, along with two lamps. The best part of the room, though, are the awesome cow print pillows. It's like California's happy cows. There is no sadness allowed in this room, it's too cheerful.

Annabeth's Room
Squire Wing
It's a room fit more for a daughter of Aphrodite, than Athena, but maybe it will promote character growth. A bright metallic pink satin bed takes up the majority of the room, smack dab under the cascading crystal chandelier. A huge magenta on magenta painting hangs behind the bed against the black and silver wall. Two purple lamps give a little less dramatic light than the chandelier and some under bed drawers add practical storage.

Kate Beckett's Room
Squire Wing
Dramatic and feminine, Kate's room is the epitome of delicate. The bold headboard is outlined with a graceful wood carving that nearly resembles the lace that accents the bedspread and the soft white on grey wallpaper. Twin wall sconces give a soft glow to the room in addition to the crystal chandelier. A soft fringed rug covers the dark hardwood floor, making the white furnishings almost look brighter and more elegant in comparison. The soft pink satin pillows definitely gives the room an even more feminine touch.

Astrid's Room
Squire Wing
This slightly old fashioned room is light and warm, offering a bit more elegant decor than some rooms in the castle. Balancing simplicity with ornate flourishes, it manages to avoid feeling overwhelming while keeping a light atmosphere. A vanity desk and dresser line one wall, with a comfortable couch and large, plush bed making the centerpieces of the space.

This room could make anyone feel like a Duchess, or, at least feel like they've broken into a Duchess' living quarters. Are you sure you have the right room?

Brantley's Room
Squire Wing
This room combines Baroque complexity with modern simplicity, offering a space that feels open and elegant without the stuffy, highfalutin airs. The bed is simple but comfortable and while the overall color scheme of the room is dark, the variety of reflective surfaces manages to keep it feeling bright, rather than dark and cave-like. The ceiling light provides a diffused light through the room, while the bedside lamps offer a more directed light better for local use. The dresser has large mirrored doors, and there are a couple small shelving units cased in glass for books and other more personal touches to the room. Just don't throw any stones...

Archer's Room
Squire Wing
White and grey are the colors of this room. Very dramatic, very bond. With a rug proclaiming "DUCHESS", this room was tailor made for a very special secret agent. With white furnishings emblazoned with Coco Chanel drawer pulls and fancy carved accents, the drama is only made more dramatic by the animal statue and lamp. And that fluffy thing would make the perfect place for Babou II to curl up on. Let's be real though -- that luggage is full of weapons.

Alanna's Room
Dragon's Light Wing
The monstrous four poster bed is the focal point of the room, with the graceful curved carvings spreading through the rest of the room and tying it all together. Storage is the name of the game with two nightstands, an armoire and a lovely vanity decorated with purple and green accents. These two colors also spread to the bedding, while the purple coats the walls and hangs from the window in soft, gauzy curtains.

Jaime's Room
Dragon's Hide Wing
Black and gold are the predominant colors of Jaime's room, all glossy lacquer and creamy gold. The closet's mirrored doors reflect the black and gold bed, done in clean white linen with a gold throw. A small rug covers the cream tiled floor, another reflective surface for Jaime to look at his lovely reflection in. A pair of windows and a pair of lamps give the room it's light and a small ottoman gives very little sitting. Guess they'll be sitting on the bed then.

Andrew's Room
Dragon's Hoard Wing
Andrew's room is huge and light, fit for a king. Andrew is King of the Nerds, so it is accurate. A massive bed takes up one side of the room, next to a cheerful fireplace. A large closet can hold his collection of Pokemon tee shirts and and the mantle is dressed with a framed art print. (It's a mushroom.) It's much more sophisticated than he deserves, done in light brown and a pale wood. All his geekery is hidden out of sight, leaving room for an age appropriate room fit for a knight.

Ella's Room
Dragon's Fire Wing
Ella's room is bright and airy, the feminine counterpart to Andrew's room if we're being honest. A TV sits above the fireplace directly across from the bed made from snuggling into on a cold winter day. Or any day. One wall is almost entirely taken up with a bookshelf and a block of cabinets, while two comfy chairs provide something to curl up in. The pale yellow floral bedding matches the drapes to the three windows that bring bright sunlight into the room in addition to the ceiling fan. It's basically adorable.

Paige's Room
Squire Wing
Simple, modern and breezy, the abundance of windows spaced around the walls allow natural light to cast a warm glow throughout the room that brings out the gold in the décor during the day, while at night, the star spangled sky and moonlight that shines through allows the blue to truly sing.

The L-Shape layout of this room allows for privacy while sleeping and yet opens out onto a living area that boasts several armchairs for when you have a guest, a double wide walk in wardrobe that comes complete with wall to ceiling, rotating shoe rack and a beautiful vanity that harks back to old Hollywood, making any would be starlet the envy of all.

It’s also worth noting that the acoustics of the room make any voice shine and yet thankfully for the neighbors, thick walls ensure that nobody should be kept up all hours while somebody practices their craft. Well. Provided they actually keep the windows closed, otherwise you’re fresh out of luck.

Oliver's Room
Squire Wing
This modern bedroom is full of patterns and textures, while its muted colors soften the strong lines creating a masculine yet soothing appeal. Gauzy curtains allow for plenty of light to come through the floor to ceiling windows while heavier curtains can be drawn when you’d like to avoid a side of daylight with your head-pounding hangover.

The thick piled area rug lightens the room and contrasts beautifully against the polished, hardwood floors and the two-seater loveseat in the corner of the room provides a comfortable reading nook or place to entertain by making use of the low tables at the end of the bed.

In built wardrobes span the length of the room with several floor to ceiling mirrors that are both functional and decorative, making the room seem larger than it actually is while the faux crocodile finish desk and plush office chair are as eye-catching as they are functional features of the room.

Felicity Smoak's Room
Squire Wing
While the two toned, patterned carpet could overwhelm any other space, the combination of white, gold and vibrant purple walls and furnishings turn a dizzying, visual overload into a luxurious, feminine yet bold living space.

The sitting area is perfect for entertaining with a coffee table that is not only functional but has several drawers built into the sides that not only offers extra storage space but doubles as a secret compartment due to the design of the table.

To the right of the room as you’re facing the bed, there’s a tall, freestanding dresser that matches the bedside tables and a study nook with desk and lamp that matches the vanity on the opposite side of the room.

The floor to ceiling windows allow for plenty of natural light and the bedside lamps do a marvelous job of highlighting the decorative wall finishing behind the Queen –size bed.

Alec McDowell's Room
Squire Wing
Blending dark wood paneling and light colored walls, this masculine bedroom is more than just a place to sleep. Featuring a King-size bed and raised, wall mounted bedside tables, the sleeping area only takes up one corner of the room.

Floor to ceiling windows have been hidden behind birch, wide paneled, electronic blinds, allowing complete darkness should you wish to get away from Castle life and take in a movie on the wall mounted flat screen.

The foldout couch that faces the television is ideal for when a guest can’t be bothered to stagger back to their own room and the built in wardrobe, designed to match the dark paneled feature wall that surrounds the bed has ample room for both clothing and any personalized, decorative touches.

While the wall-mounted, golden wing may be considered a touch gaudy, it was made by the previous inhabitant of the room and has been magically affixed to the wall so… Good luck getting rid of that thing.

Thea's Room
Squire Wing
Proving that macramé still has its place in design; the combination of cream and beige of this room creates a calming, neutral atmosphere while faux fur throws and polished silver furnishings add a touch of glam and femininity to this space.

The Queen-sized bed may be the feature of the room but as you step away you’ll find an exquisite, silver finish vanity and matching dresser while off to the side of the room, there’s a table and chairs that looks out across a view of the Castle grounds.

Less is more has been kept in mind when providing decorations but between the muted, metallic finish wall paper and the glamor of the assorted furnishings, anything else might have been too much.

Sylar's Room
Squire Wing
Homely and spacious, this room features an enormous King-size bed, built in wood heater and wall-mounted television, making this the perfect retreat for any Squire looking to escape from the busy movements of Castle life.

With its original hardwood floors, a long rug stretches the length of the room to add warmth and light to the space. Shelving has been installed to maximize space, ideal for photos, books or assorted souvenirs from your travels and this is one of the few rooms in the Castle that boasts a small, private balcony that looks out over the Castle grounds, with just enough room for a small table and chairs to take in coffee in the mornings.

To the left of the bed there’s a tall, freestanding wardrobe with hanging space at the top and drawers underneath for storage that stands opposite a worn yet comfortable leather lounge with floor lamp next to it for anyone looking to get in a little reading time.

Hanging either side of the balcony entrance there are two, framed, century old, charcoal sketches; on the left a Knight in full armor and the right, the Castle.

Matt Byrne's Room
Squire Wing
Teal and Silver are the predominant colors of this modern take on a romantic bedroom. The deep blue of the padded headboard has been repeated with several throw pillows while the Teal of the bedspread and Chaise Lounge offers bold splashes of vibrant color alongside the pale blue of the walls and curtains.

The Silver trim of the black side tables match the elegant framework of the bed and a set of twin, matching dressers stand along the wall opposite the bed, allowing for plenty of storage space.

The generous number of windows lets in plenty of natural light during the Summer months while down-lights and Swarovski Crystal Chandelier, brightens up the room at night.

Hanging from the wall by the bed you’ll find two, framed, charcoal drawings that were created by a Knight , depicting castle life more than a century ago and laying across the miniature Chaise at the end of the bed, you’ll find your new sleeping companion.

Amy's Room
Squire Wing
The Peach tones of this room have been lifted by the contrast of pattern and pale blue in the curtains, throws and footstools that line the end of the bed. Though one of the smaller rooms in the Castle, it makes up for it with the generous, private balcony that looks out over the Castle Gardens. The outdoor furnishings in the same colors of the room, allows for plenty of seating for guests while creating cohesion and flow from indoors to out.

The floor to ceiling windows and French doors let in plenty of natural light and the comfortable armchair in the corner of the room is the perfect spot to relax and read by the floorlamp until you’re ready for bed.

The dresser that matches the side tables has adequate storage space but should you need more, the seats on the trio of footstools open up, while several drawers are hidden beneath the valance of the bed.

Stefan's Room
Squire Wing
By far one of the most spacious rooms in the Castle, once you've gotten settled, you'll never want to leave. The honey maple hardwood floors add warmth to the pristine white walls and ceilings and the shape of the room helps to keep the entertaining and sleeping areas separate.

The open fireplace has been spelled to ensure no smoke damage will be done to the room and is large enough that it warms the enormous space in the cold, Winter months while the generous use of floor to ceiling windows allows for plenty of natural light in the Summer.

The entertaining area has more than enough seating to comfortably host half a dozen or more guests while the purple throw pillows and greenery adds splashes of color to really liven up the space.

Finally, hanging on the wall by the sitting area you will find a trio of artworks. The central piece was created by a local Shadowkind Artist while the two oil pastels were brought back to the Castle from a Mission in Turkey by one of the Knights.

Liam's Room
Squire Wing
Cream and Beige not only makes this room shine but gives a real sense of space to this retreat. The decorative chandelier and wall sconces have been chosen to match the curves and swirls of the bedhead while subtle splashes of red add a touch of warmth and color.

Drapes have been hung to offer privacy in the bedroom and furnishings have been kept to minimum in the rest of the room to allow the occupant to convert the open space any way they like while still maintaining the bedroom area for rest and relaxation.

The gloss finish on the ceiling creates a reflective surface that mirrors the woodgrain of the birch floorboards and th tall, free standing mirror, not only adds to the décor but bounces natural light around the room, filling it with a soft glow as it filters through the gauzy curtains during the day.

Finally, adding both a splash of color and history to the room, hanging above the bed is a beautiful oil painting that depicts the English Countryside back in the 1800’s.

Alisha's Room
Squire Wing
Sustaining severe water damage after an horrendous storm blew out one of the windows, great care has been taken in returning this room to its once, former glory. With all new wallpaper, carpets and drapes, the canopy of the bed has been replaced to tie in with the new décor, every effort having been taken to keep this space a traditional retreat.

The antique furnishings have been masterfully restored and the addition of a small seating area to entertain guests has been added when the room was refurbished. Medieval bay windows allow for plenty of natural light while the heavy drapes can be drawn to block out the early morning sun.

Storage space has been provided in the form of an ornate, freestanding wardrobe that stands to the left of the bed and though decorative pieces have been kept to a minimum, one of the most outstanding elements of the room is the metalwork crest that hangs behind the dresser; The Knights Headquarters peeking out above a shield that’s been emblazoned with the emblem of the Silver Dragon.

Rocket's Room
Squire Wing
Beautiful, elaborate tapestries, dramatic drapery and high arches and columns help to lift this otherwise neutral space. Floor to ceiling windows allow for plenty of natural light and offer an exquisite view of the Castle Gardens from the sitting area that’s separated from the sleeping area by half walls and columns.

The free-standing wardrobe and matching bedside tables offer more than adequate storage space, while the inclusion of low benches and footstools may come in handy for the vertically challenged residents who need help getting something out of reach or, just getting into bed.

To the right of the room, beside the sitting area, there once hung an oil painting of Andres Isle but considering the rooms newest occupant, this piece has been moved to another room while a portrait if one of the former heads of the Dragon’s Hide, hangs in its place.

Allison's Room
Squire Wing
Nature has been brought inside the Castle with this bedroom. The dark, hardwood floors, bamboo blinds and pine futon bed, with windows that look out onto the tall trees that dot the Castle grounds create a calming, modern, rustic retreat.

The narrow table that runs half the length of the room is mostly decorative but offers just enough room for a laptop to be set up if you’d rather not trek to the library when needing to look something up.

The free-standing wardrobe offers plenty of clothing space while extra storage room can be found by opening up the bench that runs along the window, or pulling out the drawer that’s hidden beneath the pale grey love-seat.

On the smaller side, there is no separate area for entertaining but two glass doors open out onto a long, skinny, private balcony, just large enough for a small table and chairs should you wish to make use of it.

Avaleen's Room
Squire Wing
Heaven and Earth have finally met with this spacious, feminine room. The cream furnishings are greatly complimented by the Soft Green, Gold and Woodgrain pieces that tie the whole room together.

The privacy curtains that surround the four poster bed, act as a room divider, allowing any guests to entertain themselves up one end of the room while allowing somebody to change clothes without putting everything on display.

With ample seating, this is definitely a room for somebody who loves to entertain and the open, wood fireplace makes it the perfect retreat during the Winter months when Knights find themselves trapped inside by the rain.

Soft, smoky green wallpaper gives the faint illusion of woodgrain and hanging along the back wall by the vanity and dressing table; black and white photographs of Knights who have lost their lives in the line of duty are accompanies by plaques that detail how they fell.

Derek's Room
Squire Wing
The ultimate room for a bachelor, rustic meets modern when creating the perfect retreat for somebody looking to wind down when returning to London. With wooden floorboards and brick rendered walls, recycled furniture has been used to tie the room together.

A small, open fireplace keeps the space toasty in the winter months and boasting not one, but two flat screens, the screen above the decorative motorcycle has an in built DVD-Player while the one above the daybed can be operated wirelessly from your Drakenet device, enabling you to browse the internet, make Drakenet searches or play videos of kittens on youtube.

The towering sculpture in the corner of the room was made by a local Shadowkind artist and all of the recycled pieces of furniture, including the daybed, dresser and coffee table have been made using materials from a stable that previously stood on the grounds of the Knights headquarters.

Erica's Room
Squire Wing
With parquetry flooring and white walls and ceilings, this may be one of the smaller rooms in the Castle but with some ingenious design ideas, a potentially cramped space is converted into a roomy retreat. Unity has been created by using the same textiles for the drapes, canopy, bed, chair and footstool while the large, gilded mirror that hangs above the dresser gives the illusion of extra space.

The bay window provides a wonderful reading nook with a view of the Castle grounds while the drapes may be drawn to keep the morning sun out if you’d prefer to sleep in.

If you’re entertaining guests, there’s a small seating area, complete with 19th century card table and the bed, while pictured here as a small day bed, does in fact pull out into a queen-size bed, giving a traditional look and feel with the added benefits of modern ingenuity.

Candelabra style wall fittings light up the room at night and while storage space isn’t immense, there is a free standing wardrobe that stands opposite the bed that should provide sufficient space.

Omar's Room
Squire Wing
With faded, hardwood oak floors and white finished, decorative wood paneling, the light, breeziness of this room makes it a wonderfully relaxing retreat for any Knight and despite its feminine appearance, a simple change of bedspread (and maybe ditch the figurines on the dresser), can easily transform this space into something a little more masculine.

The matching side tables, dresser and free-standing wardrobe (that stands in the corner, opposite the bed) provide more than ample storage space while the area rug and chairs make for a comfortable place to entertain guests.

The floor to ceiling Windows allow for plenty of natural light and yet they’re set far enough away from the bed to ensure that you won’t be treated to a rude awakening when the sun comes up.

Moving past the windows is a small alcove that has been converted into a study nook; complete with desk, office chair and plenty of shelving for an assortment of books and personal items.

Kate Bishop's Room
Squire Wing
While the chestnut, hardwood floors and muted, metallic walls may give a masculine feel to the space, the gaslight inspired bedside lamps, cream, embroidered bedspread and fresh cut flowers that have been spelled to never wilt, add color and soften this modern retreat.

The wall divider offers a modicum of privacy while the television mounted to the inbuilt entertainment unit can be angled to allow the occupant to take in a movie or catch up on current events from the comfort of their bed at the end of a long day.

Moving away from the sleeping area, an alcove has been converted to a study; complete with desk, chair and ample shelving to allow you to really make this space your own, while extra storage is available in the built in wardrobe that spans the length of the room to the right of the bed as you’re facing it.

Damon's Room
Squire Wing
A mixture of white walls and soft hue accents of yellow, blue, and grey, this room is made for natural light to stream in and brighten the space. A large king sized bed dominates the room, with matching drawers and vanity, and a small archway that leads to a large walk-in closet. The room is currently being upgraded to a lighter hardwood floor to allow more light in to brighten up the atmosphere, and where the hardwood turns to the previous cement floor, an oriental rug sits to still allow guests to enjoy the sparse sitting area. The chandelier sits waiting for nighttime when there is no sunlight to illuminate the space.

Hayley's Room
Squire Wing
An 18th century lodge style bedroom set carved from natural wood sits in a room of a black and white tiled floor. Crystal and marble carved bedposts, along with a small crystal chandelier highlight the room to give it a touch that is more formal and less hunting lodge. Little finishing touches of a sundial, a little status, and some symbolistic prints above the bed add character to the space. In the corner sits a baby’s crib - not an original piece to the bedroom set but an essential addition for the youngest occupant of the room.

Chris' Room
Squire Wing
A mixture of gold, purple, and white shag - the room screams of the 60’s London vibe. The gold metalwork of the bed frame has a hint of resembling a dragon in flight, and the rich purple drapes match the bedding while the gold matches the gold circular wallpaper behind the headboard that is sunken back into the wall. There is a tray ceiling with pot lights lining along the curves of the design, as well as the edges of the room. A desk waits just past the bed on the hardwood floor to use for work or holding decorations, and a door leading to a closet is opposite the windows along a wall of silver design wallpaper to reflect the light from the ceiling. Groovy baby.

Rebekah's Room
Squire Wing
The geometric pattern of the large area rug may be a little dizzying at first glance but with the low ceilings of the bedroom, dark, hardwood floors would have made the space seem too small and the grey color scheme of the walls and furnishings keep the room from being too busy.

The large, gas fireplace warms the room during the Winter months and the floor to ceiling windows that frame it, offer a glorious view of the Castle grounds when entertaining a guest in the sitting area,

The built-in wardrobe has been inlaid with mirrors to make it both functional and decorative and it, along with the sleek black dressers that sit either side of the Queen-size bed, allow for plenty of storage space.

Touches of green, gold, dark blue and the use of large mirrors, add color to the otherwise dull palette while not overpowering the room.

Abigail's Room
Squire Wing
By using soft blues, mauve, silver and mirrors, a calming and romantic space has been created that anyone would be happy to spend hours in. The padded headboard of the double bed is both comfortable and eye-catching while the use of decorative mirrors and polished finish pieces gives a greater sense of space to this cozy bedroom.

Floor to ceiling windows allow for plenty of natural light and there’s no lack of storage space for clothing due to the in built wardrobe that runs along the back wall and silver finish dresser that matches the two bedside tables.

Maximizing space for decorative knick-knacks, rather than use bedside lamps, low hanging lights have been suspended from the ceiling either side of the bed and set above and below, there are four prints, each depicting plants found in the wild that have been used by healers for centuries.

Maxwell's Room
Squire Wing
Modern with a plush touch, this room is all about comfort. From the bed that’s frame is covered with a deep silver cushioning that wraps both the head and foot boards, to the thick carpeting that covers the entire floor, to the welcoming cushioned chairs next to the fireplace with a small gray poof for resting tired feet after a long mission. The bench at the end of the bed serve both as a comfortable spot to sit and an easy storage trunk for extra blankets and pillows. The muted khaki of the walls blend into the greys in the tray ceiling, with a gold chandelier bringing light and a pop of color in the otherwise neutral tones of the room. Light also comes from two modern bedside lamps, and a piece of functional art sitting above the fireplace.

Nels' Room
Squire Wing
A more medieval style bedroom of navy, gold and red, this room is set with three distinct areas. The bed is set in it’s own alcove with a golden barrier that surrounds the space to give it a defining space. The walls of the bed area are covered in a mural that resembles people dancing in celebration. The walls beyond the bed that sit above the barrier have two golden columns carved into the wall. with a golden streamer design above - almost resembling a necklace with a bright jewel in the center Just beyond the barrier is a small sitting area with a fireplace that is surrounded with a carved golden accent mantel, and set to be able to heat both areas on cold winter nights. Past the fireplace is the dressing area with a hand carved set of drawers. The walls are decorated with inlaid murals to look like paintings with gold frames, and the golden crown molding is accented with a navy and gold wallpaper border. There are no windows in this room, so there are a few lamps as well as electric candles spread throughout to light the space.

Mars' Room
Dragon's Fire Wing
Patterns and textures work well in this neutral bedroom to offer eye-catching finishes without making the room appear too busy. An archway separates the sleeping and entertaining areas and while privacy between the two spaces is minimal, there’s still a definite sense of sleep and play as you move between the two.

The stunning, padded headboard of the double bed is outshone only by the decorative canopy and the elaborate, crystal and gold chandelier that hangs above the plush, velour, bedroom bench. To maximize space, built into the bedframe and hidden beneath the skirting are four drawers, ideal for storing extra blankets or perhaps any items you’d rather a snooping guest not discover.

As you move away from the bedroom you will see a portrait hanging on the left-hand side of the wall, depicting the likeness of one of the former members of the Dragon’s Fire, before you reach the main living area. Beige and cream continue to dominate this space, while dark wooden end tables and gold framed prints have been used to add contrast to the room.

There’s enough room here to comfortably seat four people and tucked away in the corner you’ll find an in built bookcase and study nook in dark wood finish. While the room doesn’t come with a computer, there are power outlets and it would be an ideal spot to set up a laptop when needing to get some work done without needing to head to the Library.

Lastly, as you turn down the corridor to leave the room you’ll find two doors that open up into a large storage area that can easily be converted into a tea and coffee room or if you lack the motivation, a great place to hide all your crap.

Fiona's Room
Dragon's Fire Wing
Draped curtains, gold accents and splashes of bright blue set against a canvas of white and woodgrain create a beautiful romantic bedroom that’s full of natural light thanks to the wall of floor to ceiling windows. French doors open out onto a small, private balcony that has enough room for a table and chairs but if darkness is your desire, the heavy drapes can be drawn to cast the room into instant darkness for those mornings when daylight is not your friend.

While the floor to ceiling, padded headboards with textures wallpaper panels really cells the room, it’s the crystal chandelier that adds just the right amount of glamor without being too dramatic.

The bedside tables are as decorative as they are functional and are certainly sturdy enough to showcase precious items such as an expensive vase, or perhaps even a bottle, while the built in cabinets offer plenty of storage space below and ample room for personal touches or even a television above.

Cheryl's Room
Squire Wing
Fit for a queen, Cheryl's room is reminiscent of a five star hotel. With ample light from the floor to ceiling windows and the high ceilings featuring a crystal chandelier ripe for swinging on, the dark patterned wall paper and dark hardwood floors don't overpower the room. A queen sized bed features a headboard with ornate gold carvings and soft pillowed backing so she doesn't hurt herself when she gets tied up. Twin nightstands match the low dresser, lacquered black with gold detailing and providing ample room for clothes and her collection of name plates. Aside from the cobalt blue and white color palette, notes of plum and lavender are peppered through the room, really tying it together.

Jordan's Room
Dragon's Fire Wing
Jordan's room is a room made for a man who is fully secure in his masculinity or happy to eschew gender norms because the most striking feature of the room is the pale pink bed. With a soft, fabric headboard, the base is also upholstered in the same velvety pink fabric, matching duvet and pink and white satin pillows really tie it all together. The bench at the foot of the bed ties in the gold features that spread up to the ornate gilt wall sconces, to the twin golden nightstand, and across to the equally ornate full length mirror against the wall. The pale grey walls and white shag rug give the room a little lightness and ensure that the pink isn't overpowering. A freestanding modesty screen hides the closet from view so no one will ever see if it's a mess and a cozy (and pink) chair offers some seating to pour over his texts.

Adam's Room
Dragon's Fire Wing
The bed is the focal point of this room, everything else radiating out from it like sunlight. A quilted headboard is pressed against a quilted focal wall, immediately drawing the eye to sumptuous bedding and the ornate columns supporting the drop ceiling with holds a fabric lighting fixture, almost giving the feel of a canopy. A swirling white rug gives warmth to the marble floor and opulent curtains bookend the floor to ceiling windows, giving more natural light than the lamps and chandelier provide. Along with a desk, a pair of Queen Anne chairs give room for company to hang around. Abundant storage can be found in a dresser that matches the two night stands, and a closet tucked away on the other side of the room.

Malina's Room
Dragon's Fire Wing
Hot Pink and Black against the White of the walls and ceiling create a lively, visual experience when you enter this bedroom. With floor to ceiling windows to allow for plenty of natural light, should the pink of the curtains, armchairs and throw pillows become overpowering it would be very easy to replace them with something a little more sedate and yet still keep the boldness of the room intact.

The original open fireplace remains, still in perfect working order and has been spelled to ensure that no smoke damage will be done to the rooms, freshly painted walls while the dresser, with television mounted above it and matching wardrobe that stands to the left of the bed as you’re facing it, allows for plenty of storage space.

Hanging above the fireplace is a new addition to the room, having been moved here after it was deemed unsuitable in one of the other Squire Rooms, is a magnificent oil painting of Andres Isle.

Emma Frost's Room
Dragon's Fire Wing
Not the sparkling white that was once her trademark, but it is nothing less than royal. A huge king bed dominates the space, covered with lavishly appointed bedding and a delicate valance canopied headboard that softens the iron posts. The rose walls carry the color scheme, matching the window treatments, and the large rug bringing warmth to the hardwood floors. The honey colored wood side tables and desk compliment the palette, and the many lamps and chandelier bring light to the room along with the three windows. A large, blue green sofa gives comfortable seating and the television perched on the desk can be watched from both the sofa and the bed. Room for clothes and many, many shoes can be found in a closet and a dresser, with a small vanity so Emma can look her very best.

Sam's Room
Dragon's Hoard Wing
Sleek and modern, if you ignore the Audrey Hepburn print on the charcoal feature wall, this simple yet elegantly finished room has all the makings of a bachelor pad, its shiny surfaces and crisp white floors and ceilings likely to appease even the most uptight of neat freaks.

The King Size bed has been set several feet back from the wall to allow easy access to the tall, double sided wardrobe that stands behind it and yet there’s still more than enough room to entertain a guest at the pair of black leather chairs and coffee table on the opposite end of the room.

For the more studious of Knights, a sleek black desk with glass tabletop takes up one corner of the room and a large, leather office chair with adjustable height ensures that hours can be spent researching in the comfort of your own room.

Finally, with a lovely touch of irony, a statue of the Gnome God, Baravar Cloakshadow can be found standing on the dresser, surrounded by a trio of black and trio of crystal candle holders.

Willow's Room
Dragon's Hoard Wing
This shabby chic makeover on antique furnishings, really lightens up this space, giving it an old world charm while not being quite as dramatic as some of the Castle’s other traditional rooms.

The white and gold detail of the pale blue wall paneling gives texture to the room without being too over the top, while the gold detail on the cornice, perfectly match the frame of the canopy, paintings and photographs, adding contrast and keeping the room from being too washed out.

Partial walls and white columns frame wall to ceiling windows that offer views of the Castle grounds while to the left, there’s a comfortable reading nook with large armchair and free-standing bookshelf and to the right, a study area complete with high-back chair and heavy wood desk that’s been refurbished to match the bed and side tables.

Grimrot's Room
Dragon's Hoard Wing
Light and delicate, this room is a study in lavender and white. With light lilac walls and even paler carpeting, it's almost too much, but the white bedding and black bed skirt and curtain detailing breaks it up nicely. Storage can be found in closets and a small vanity with purple and black chair that could be easily used as a desk if the mood strikes. A pink chair sits in the corner, fanned by dark leaved plants that bring nature in from the outside, in addition to the natural light offered by the two windows and the fresh flowers on the nightstand. A fluffy shag carpet and luxurious bedding make the room more than comfortable and after a hard day in the library, Grimrot can unwind in her delicate and feminine room.

Frankie's Room
Dragon's Hoard Wing
Looking a little like a room in the Slytherin dungeons, Frankie's room is lavish and rich with dark wood moldings and posts and a palatial fireplace done from grey stone and marble. The queen bed features boldly carved dark wood posts that match the colonnades on either side of the main doors and the door to the hidden closet. A soft, low chair and matching footstool are positioned in front of the window for the best natural light if Frankie wants to curl up with a book and when darkness falls the room is lit by a handful of lamps and electric candelabras, in addition to the fireplace, of course. Art lines the walls in the form of a tapestry (that pulls back to reveal a hidden television!) and a family portrait above the fireplace.

Cora's Room
Dragon's Hide Wing
Old meets new in this modern, glamorous take on Victorian Décor. The shiny, metal ceiling provides an almost, mirror effect , giving a sense of space without being too unseemly while the plaster molding has been fitted with four, chandelier like fittings of various sizes that reflect light from the shiny, metallic discs and chain.

The built in wardrobe not only has plenty of room for clothing but with backlit doors and intricate, silver framework is a piece of art in and of itself. The mirror that hangs against the wall above the bed, not only makes the room look bigger but the latticework that runs across the reflective surface can be used to tuck away photographs and keepsakes.

The heavy, matching bedside tables are as functional as they are decorative and the low, wall mounted television is perfect for when you just want to stay in bed and take in a movie.

Jackson's Room
Dragon's Hide Wing
Bold color gives way to a more serene elegance thanks to bare polished boards and the soft tones of the beds faux canopy. Cream, pale beige and off white, dominate the space while pale blue and gold have been used to add splashes of color.

Storage space is adequately provided in the bedside tables, dresser and chest of drawers and while there is no built in wardrobe; a coat rack has been fitted to the wall on the left as you enter the room.

Wrought iron chandelier, floor and bedside lamps, brighten the room at night while the two floor to ceiling windows, at the entry and by the bed, cast a soft glow through the sheer curtains during the day.

It may lack the modern amenities that a young, 21st century man might like but with plenty of space, it would be very easy for somebody to make a few additions and convert this room into the kind of retreat you’d never want, or have need to leave.

Kali's Room
Dragon's Hide Wing
Blue and gold and downright majestic, Kali's room is about as different as you can get from the sterile government environment she was raised in. The queen bed features a carved head and foot board and a delicate blue and pink canopy that is built into the valances that line the windows behind the bed. Another small valance leads into a small sitting room with ample room to entertain guests or do yoga. A desk gives some seating in the room proper and storage can be found in a pair of side tables and a large, low dresser directly across from the bed. A modesty screen hides the closet, draped with the same fabric that lines the rest of the room. Soft grey walls and an ornately carved ceiling with a crystal and gold chandelier brings the room together neatly.

Nathan's Room
Dragon's Hide Wing
Maroon and Gold with heavy wooden furniture, at least this room will be difficult for its occupant to break? While the matching wallpaper, curtains and bedspread threaten to overwhelm the space, the use of cream carpets and dark wood offers some relief to the assault on your eyeballs.

The antique pieces in this room have all been hand carved so, maybe don’t use them as kindling for the open fireplace, while privacy curtains can be drawn around the bed to not only offer a modicum of privacy, but to act as something of a room divider to break up the vast space.

Two small sitting areas have been set in front of the tall windows and a large, heavy, ornate wardrobe can be found between the two doors that lead out into the hallway. A portrait has been hung above each entry, each one depicting a former member of the Dragon’s Hide.

Faith Lehane's Room
Dragon's Hide Wing
With an almost Spanish influence, the use of bold, Red and Blue furnishings brighten up the cream and stone room while Mediterranean textiles have been used to soften those vibrant touches.

The intricate latticework of the windows allows for ample light to enter the room and while there are no drapes, shutters inlaid with that same Mediterranean textile can be closed to block out the morning sun.

Set in front of the stone framed windows is a small table and chairs to allow room for entertaining while an armchair and floor-lamp at the opposite end of the room allows for a relaxing place to read and can easily be pushed out of the way to allow plenty of room to workout, without breaking any furniture.

Cara's Room
Dragon's Hide Wing
Eggshell walls with gold trim, contrast beautifully against the dark, hardwood floorboards, while area rugs have been used to soften this calm, bedroom retreat. Floor to ceiling windows allow plenty of natural light and the soft peach drapes not only add a touch of elegance and warmth but can be closed to keep out the morning sun.

Comfortable, satin finish armchairs can be found in the small sitting area while the beautifully refurbished, antique chair by the window is a surprisingly comfortable spot to curl up with a book or take in the view of the Castle grounds.

Generous storage space has been made available, not only in the dressing table and freestanding wardrobe that sits against the wall opposite the bed but the velour finish bench (that matches the padded bedhead) has a seat that comes off for when you need more.

Alex Karamazov's Room
Dragon's Tongue Wing
Fit for the consummate bachelor, Alex's room is full of modern touches. The large bed has a simple wooden frame, softened with indulgent bedding and a mess of pillows. Above the bed is a landscape illuminated by spotlighting, adding to the light given off by the pair of lamps on either side of the bed. A large closest lines the wall across from the bed and two side tables flank the bed. While the walls are a warm, wood paneling and a fluffy rug rests under the bed, the real high point of the room is the huge floor to ceiling windows that open out to a personal balcony. The pair of comfortable chairs makes it a great space to chat and hang out. But don't worry! There are curtains running across the whole of the windows, blocking that early morning sun so he can sleep in.

The Doctor's Room
Dragon's Tongue Wing
Bright and airy, the Doctor's room feels tremendously open and spacious. Done mostly in white and pale wood floors, the room opens up to a wall of windows and personal balcony. The large bed has a white frame accented with a quilted fabric inlay, the soft brown color flowing from the frame to the bedding and up to the curtains across the windows. A long credenza lines one wall, fitted with various objets d'art but with plenty of room for storing his various trinkets and treasures. A tucked away closet has ample space for his bow ties and when he needs to relax, there is a chair and table by the windows where he can sit and dream about his adventures in the stars.

Stiles' Room
Dragon's Tongue Wing
Well suited for a budding wizard in training, Stiles' room is done in shades of grey. One wall is entirely built in shelving, originally filled with gold and white vases that have no doubt been replaced with various and sundry teenage boy accouterments. A large bed sits in the middle of the space with a extravagant velvet headboard that matches the quilted bench at the foot. A built in canopy softens the space slightly, although it is more for decorative purposes than for any real privacy. Next to the built ins there is a closet and across from the bed are a wall of windows that bring plenty of light in addition to the delicate electric chandelier and the small lamps resting on each side table. For company there are a pair of overstuffed accent chairs and a small glass table between them for all of his studies.

Lydia's Room
Dragon's Tongue Wing
While the various patterns of the wall, furnishings and carpet threaten to overwhelm this modern bedroom, by sticking to greys and pale yellow in the color palette and using the natural light of the floor to ceiling windows that span the length of the room, a visual overload is transformed into an aesthetically pleasing retreat.

The built in wardrobe features full length mirror paneling while the interior not only has ample hanging space but includes a shoe rack, shelving and drawers that will please those with even the most elaborate of wardrobes.

To the right of the bed as you’re facing it is a small seating area that allows you to entertain guests while mounted to the wall is a drop down desk that can be used for study when you’d prefer to work from the comfort of your room rather than make your way to the library.

Should you find yourself in need of extra storage space, the seat of the bench at the end of the bed opens up and the chaise lounge offers a view of London that looks absolutely breathtaking at night.

Helen's Room
Dragon's Hoard Wing
While it may be one of the smaller rooms in the Castle, it certainly makes up for in detail and beauty. Soft yellow walls with intricate, silver filigree patterns that climb up the walls and reach across the ceiling make this room one of the most spectacular in the Castle. Kept in pristine condition, from the moment you walk through the doors you feel like you’ve been transported to another time.

Privacy curtains can easily be drawn to not only hide the bed from view when you’re entertaining guests in the sitting area but allows for complete darkness if you find yourself suffering jetlag or simply need a daytime nap.

The open fireplace has been spelled to ensure that the room cannot be damaged by smoke and built into the panels of the walls, there are historical portraits of royalty that ties in perfectly with the look and feel of the room.

Ornate, antique pieces make up the rest of the room including a delicate writing desk that matches the mahogany wood of the fireplace and a tea trolley that is rumored to have once been a favorite of seventh Duchess of Bedford.

Lila's Room
Dragon's Tongue Wing
This vast space is fit for anyone who’s used to the finer things in life. The creative room divider can be pulled around the sleeping area to offer privacy while the spacious sitting area ensures you have plenty of space for guests to sit around, talk or take in a movie on the small television that’s neatly hidden behind two doors.

The original, open fireplace has been refurbished and is spelled to ensure no smoke damage will be done to the interior and the chaise lounge and side table provide an ideal place for relaxation and reading.

The gold trimmed, padded headboard comes with a matching chest at the end of the bed that provides more than adequate storage space and just off to the side is a freestanding wardrobe with hanging space above and a three rows of drawers below, two small and two full length while windows span the full length of the room to allow plenty of natural light into the space during the day.

Han's Room
Squire Wing
What better way to help a man who is more accustomed to piloting a spacecraft than a horse and carriage to adapt to a more primitive life than the one he’s used to than by giving him a room that appears primitive even by this worlds standards?

Rustic and masculine, the original fireplace has been gutted and fitted with an old pot-bellied stove that really warms up the stone and hardwood floor space. Décor has been kept simple, allowing the texture of the stone to speak for itself and the four poster bed lacks the frills of many of the other Castle furnishings.

Several chairs are set by the fire to allow several people to keep warm during the colder months and sheepskin rugs have been places around the room to tie in with the rustic feel while greenery has been included to add a splash of color to the otherwise grey landscape.

Storage space is unfortunately lacking though there are several large, antique wooden trunks that have been pushed against the wall and while, not ideal in terms of clothing storage, do at least hold a decent amount of gear.

Gus' Room
Squire Wing
Clean lines and a simple color pallet makes this room perfect for any Knight who wishes to add his or her own personal touches to truly make the space their own.

Featuring a set of three sepia prints that depict the English Countryside, warmth and comfort is added to the room with a large, thick pile rug and several large throw pillows that allow for a relaxing, informal entertaining area.

With fine, white curtains to offer a modicum of privacy, a reading nook can be found in the corner of the room, naturally lit by the knee to ceiling windows that look out upon the Castle grounds or the elegant floor lamp if night time studying is more to your tastes.

The clever design of the bedframe sees built in bedside tables and while this room has all the touches of modern décor, resting on the left hand side is a small statue of the Goddess Eldath.

Emma Swan's Room
Dragon's Fire Wing
Royal decadence seems to have been the theme when this room was designed. Deep red and dark gold furnishings pop against the cream floors with white accented walls. Boasting a bed that’s fit for a Princess of any realm, this masterpiece of gold and velvet is raised up from the rest of the room makes the sleeping area the hero of the room.

Somebody went to great pains to ensure that every piece of furniture works to compliment the bed, from the red velvet ottoman with gold fringe to the pair of gold and red hall tables that look out on a large, walk in wardrobe.

The crystal chandelier that near the vanity and full length, free standing mirror has been refurbished using globes that are set into lifelike candle fittings to offer the convenience of modern while maintaining a sense of old and tall, floor to ceiling windows can be opened up to allow natural light to filter into the room and provide a calming view for those who wish to make use of the sitting area off to the side of the room.

Rose's Room
Dragon's Hide Wing
Charcoal meets nature in this modern retreat. One of the few rooms in the Castle that comes with its own wall mounted television, it’s almost as if somebody was trying to say something about the person who will be using this room, like maybe they should actually watch one occasionally so they won’t get confused by all the pop culture references that get made around them.

Twin dressers stand at the end of the room where windows look out through the tall trees that are dotted around the castle, allowing sunlight to filter through in the mornings and removing the need for curtains or blinds. Designed to look like an open fireplace, the gas heater warms the room during the Winter months but can be operated at the push of a button.

The theme of Rose’s can’t be escaped completely however, Rose colored throw cushions and rugs adding splashes of color to the room and a large lounging chair is the perfect place for one or two people to nap. Or, perhaps even a Moose.

David's Room
Dragon's Hide Wing
One of the more traditional rooms in the Castle, elaborate, decorative wood paneling and ornate ceilings make this room fit for a King, or, Viking as the case may be. Furnished with the original, antique pieces, little has been done to alter this room since the Knights made this their headquarters.

The heavy, hand-carved four-poster bed has privacy curtains that block out the morning sun while the inlaid paneling feature hand painted motifs of past battles.

A small alcove features a heavy desk that doubles as a vanity which looks out upon the ornate framework of the windows boast stained glass panels that depict the knights of the round table and Excalibur, another nod to the history of the Knights.

While tradition may be the theme of this room, like all rooms in the castle, the modern convenience of electricity is available and while the room has remained untouched by permanent light fittings of any kind, bedside lamps and floor lamps have been placed throughout.

Andie's Room
Dragon's Tongue Wing
Silver and Cream with Gold accents add a hint of luxury without overpowering this spacious living area. Privacy curtains may be drawn around the bed should anyone choose to make use of either of the sitting areas and a large, mirror panel set above the disused fireplace gives the illusion of space to this already large bedroom.

Double French doors either side of the Queen size, four poster bed, open out onto two, small, private balconies, giving the inhabitant a view of those who are going about their business on the Castle grounds.

The Pewter and Gold Cigar Box was bestowed upon the Knights to thank them for their help dealing with a particularly nasty Spirit Naga, the details of which can be learned by reading the engraved plaque set into the open lid.

The gold gilded chandelier that hangs from the ceiling gives the illusion of old with globes that are set into lifelike candle fittings while down lights have been spaced throughout to offer enough light to fill the whole room.

Hook's Room
Dragon's Hide Wing
This simple bedroom space, with its high ceilings and wood framed windows allows for plenty of natural light, filling the room with a warm, relaxing glow. Reminiscent of the framework of a ship, the timber beamwork that crosses the ceiling, while purely decorative in nature, draws attention to the height of the room and makes the space feel bigger.

Hardwood floors lead to double doors that open out onto a small balcony, while inside, the bedroom includes a spacious sitting area for when you have a guest and hanging from the wall, by the archway, there is a large, framed, antique Nautical map of Europe that dates back to the 1600’s.

While the room itself doesn’t appear to have much space for storage, as you walk through the archway, you will find a spacious area that includes a walk in wardrobe to the right, and a storage area on the left, allowing a real sense of space in the bedroom without sacrificing functionality.

Scout would examine the whole room in detail pretty much immediately. Her nickname's well earned. Also she's kind of paranoid.

Some A Huttload of specifics:

Is there space under the bed, or is it one big block/drawers? Are any tiles cracked? How thin are the walls, do they let a lot of sound through? Any footsteps from above? Do people come in and change the linens/clean, or is it her own job and she can leave things around? Does the door lock? Does it latch besides that? How thick is it? Can she bring in a chair or something that would stop the door from casually being opened from outside?

Is this on the first or second floor? What's immediately underneath and to the sides? How generally scalable is the outside of the wall? When the windows are open, would the sill tend to dig dangerously into a rope or cord? When it's dark out are there lights out there? Does going in and out of that window set off any alarms?

...I know this is kind of excessive. I picked a character who reflects some degree of my own weird details obsession.

Thanks!

So anyone going up/approaching the staircase might be able to see the window? Are there bushes or hedges or something that could be used as cover at the base of the exterior wall?

I'm pretty sure she wouldn't look into any windows let alone try one unless there was some kind of emergency, but she'd try to get to the roof just to see if she can and to turn in place and see farther, is that possible? Any little doors leading to the roof to notice?

The thirty-thousand credit question cluster: are there smoke detectors in the rooms? How about the hallway? Are they cigarette-level sensitive or does the room have to be filled before they go off?

(no, nothing's going to burn down, I'm just considering open log ideas.)
