Well, since the game officially opens as of Tuesday -> Wednesday at midnight EST, I figured I would put this up now, so we have a chance to do introductions!  Rather than having everyone make an individual OOC post, I thought we could do it all in one get-to-know-each-other post like this.  

For one, this game may be different from others you have been in, because when it comes to your original characters, you are encouraged not to OOCly tell other people all about their background/secrets/etc.  I'm going to run this as much like a tabletop campaign as possible without bogging it down in rules and mechanics, but the act of being surprised along with your characters, ICly and OOCly, is an essential part of the fun in that!  This is why all apps are screened, btw.  

However, there are things that would be obvious off your character off the bat, so feel free to talk about any of those things / their surface personality / appearance / skills / etc!  And you can use this post to share any other info you think would be useful for others to know about the way you like to game / your time zone / etc.  :)  

I am INCREDIBLY EXCITED ABOUT THIS, GUYS.  And ask you to be open and communicative with me on any questions you might have that crop up as we go along.  \o\

I'm Christina and I'm bringing in Hayley Marshall from the Originals (&tvd) from episode 1x19 after a big ol' explosion in the Bayou. She is a pregnant werewolf and if you would prefer to opt out of any pregnancy things please feel free to hit me up over on her permissions post! (located here) She will be giving birth in July, so if you're not baby friendly either, just let me know!

I also am bringing in Faith Lehane of BtVS/Ats fame and she's a Slayer - because there IS more than 1 of those floating around the universe. She's coming from post 4x15 on Angel after she's saved the day but before she heads out to Sunnydale.

I am sometimes available on IM at onlysayinghello - but your best bet at all times is to just send me a PM to either journal. msattentionspan | consequence I will reply and plot and do all sorts of things. I live in the US in IL and I work full-time for a company that owns 5 radio stations. I am online a lot, but that's work related. I'm very easy to get a hold of, though.

1. emma has basically adopted faye so when she comes home from her current mission to find phoebe tonkin pregnant she is going to be like ???~?!??!?? FAYE WHAT because math, dude. but it will be a maternal type freakout and she will probably try to help hayley out however she needs it in this last month bc experience in that department ahaha.

1. Yes good. She will be relieved that she won't have to give birth in a shack in the bayou. and poor emma with the confusion on the face. I said I was cool with it being vaguely similar/not identical - but honestly, hayley has experience with the doppelganger thing, so it'll just be an odd "thing" that gets tacked onto her already odd life.

-Elena has no memories of basically...anything. She knows she was in a car accident (3x22) and that she's a doppelganger which works....VERY differently here. She only recognized Ric because she saw him and he had to tell her she has a brother and a dead aunt back home.

SO YEAH, I have no idea if Hayley will know here, but that's a thing. o3o She's not exactly doing so hot atm, but I will find a way to poke her. o3o

Oh, and she's also almost 20 here. She's been around...a long time lol

Hayley does indeed know who Elena is! I took her from The Originals canon, so she's already been through Elena being a vampire, and killing a Hunter and being haunted by it - since one of the sired hybrids died because of that whole mess.

I only had Hayley forget Oliver & Jackson from her canon and all the things that went along with them.

anyways after 84 long years I am finally in this game and I am bringing with me Rebekah from the Vampire Diaries/The Originals. She's coming from the end of season one of the Originals but without memories of...getting the baby/the baby being born bc that would cause problems. She's kind of a brat but extremely loyal to people she cares about and has an addiction to falling in love with the wrong men. Also sometimes her brother kills said wrong men. That's also a thing. Anyway the point is I am super duper excited to be here.
