Well, since the game officially opens as of Tuesday -> Wednesday at midnight EST, I figured I would put this up now, so we have a chance to do introductions!  Rather than having everyone make an individual OOC post, I thought we could do it all in one get-to-know-each-other post like this.  

For one, this game may be different from others you have been in, because when it comes to your original characters, you are encouraged not to OOCly tell other people all about their background/secrets/etc.  I'm going to run this as much like a tabletop campaign as possible without bogging it down in rules and mechanics, but the act of being surprised along with your characters, ICly and OOCly, is an essential part of the fun in that!  This is why all apps are screened, btw.  

However, there are things that would be obvious off your character off the bat, so feel free to talk about any of those things / their surface personality / appearance / skills / etc!  And you can use this post to share any other info you think would be useful for others to know about the way you like to game / your time zone / etc.  :)  

I am INCREDIBLY EXCITED ABOUT THIS, GUYS.  And ask you to be open and communicative with me on any questions you might have that crop up as we go along.  \o\

HELLO PEOPLE.

I am Gem, and some of you know me and some of you don't, such is the way of the world. I am crazy excited to be joining the game, and bringing in The Doctor, of Doctor Who fame. From his canon point he is possibly a bit more grumpy than some people might be used to, and he might be also introducing himself as John Smith because he is a big liar.

This is my first time playing anything D&D based so I am a complete newb and really excited to be tackling something different and new. If I do anything daft though or make mistakes please feel free to e-slap me and tell me that is not how you do the thing.

Hello! I'm Cass and on the heels of these two well-known canon chars above me I'm bringing you this totally random OC that I made up yesterday. His name is Jameson Bennett and he's a telekinetic Irish thief who's going to be starting out as some sort of acquaintance/associate/person of probably dubious helpfulness before eventually getting dragooned into the Knights through RP.

As for me I know some of you already, and for the rest I'm on plurk at sifface if you like. I haven't played an OC in ages, really did just invent this dude, and am also totally new to this tabletop style, but I'm excited to try some new stuff! So please be gentle OOC (never IC) at least for a little while. Hi there everyone. I'm Kyle and I'm bringing my lone canon warrior to KOL, Chris Ramirez from the sadly obscure series Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. He's fiercely loyal, faithful to his friends and though he doesn't really know this now a martyr.
