Well, since the game officially opens as of Tuesday -> Wednesday at midnight EST, I figured I would put this up now, so we have a chance to do introductions!  Rather than having everyone make an individual OOC post, I thought we could do it all in one get-to-know-each-other post like this.  

For one, this game may be different from others you have been in, because when it comes to your original characters, you are encouraged not to OOCly tell other people all about their background/secrets/etc.  I'm going to run this as much like a tabletop campaign as possible without bogging it down in rules and mechanics, but the act of being surprised along with your characters, ICly and OOCly, is an essential part of the fun in that!  This is why all apps are screened, btw.  

However, there are things that would be obvious off your character off the bat, so feel free to talk about any of those things / their surface personality / appearance / skills / etc!  And you can use this post to share any other info you think would be useful for others to know about the way you like to game / your time zone / etc.  :)  

I am INCREDIBLY EXCITED ABOUT THIS, GUYS.  And ask you to be open and communicative with me on any questions you might have that crop up as we go along.  \o\

Hey, Forest. I'm Brian aka the one with the character making googly eyes at yours on plurk. Sorry about that (no, not really). Klaus is a freak and he will probably stalk any werewolves he comes across because reasons. Other than Klaus, I just brought in Alaric Saltzman (this guy) who is a history teacher by day, vampire hunter by night. I've also got my version of The Warden in game from Dragon Age: Origins.

I have absolutely zero experience with tabletop gaming but I have been really enjoying this place thus far. I am looking forward to our inevitable cr mwahahaha.

Hi! Welcome to the game! I'm Alli and I just added you on plurk (I'm airchildstrega there)

I have four kiddos here, so here's the breakdown

Myrilandel (this account) - witchwoman/cleric type who has a pet/familiar which is almost like a cat except it has hidden wings and talons instead of paws :D She's super sweet and makes friends with everyone. She's from a series of books called the Dragon Nimbus History

Thoster - a pirate and a bard! He's an OC who is a ladies' man (or so he thinks). He likes to drink and sing and be the life of the party

Faye Chamberlain - sorceress/witch from The Secret Circle books. She's a bratty teenager who thinks she's a bad ass.

David Charming - Prince Charming from Once Upon a A Time. When he came through the Veil, his name got smashed up, so he thinks David Charming is his name, the poor thing.


SO YEAH. I'm looking forward to playing with you!

Excellent characters, all. I have a feeling charming won't care for Alec much, but the first two aught to get on splendidly with him and I'll be interested to see how he and Faye interact.

HI I'm Emily and I've got two kids over here: David Levin who is a post-canon AU from the Everworld books (it's okay if you've never heard of them, pretty much no one has) and an OC named Felicity Braddock who is also a thief, so clearly they should bro it up.

You've already got me added on Plurk (I'm iluvroadrunner6), so I'll hopefully be seeing you around. =D
