Well, since the game officially opens as of Tuesday -> Wednesday at midnight EST, I figured I would put this up now, so we have a chance to do introductions!  Rather than having everyone make an individual OOC post, I thought we could do it all in one get-to-know-each-other post like this.  

For one, this game may be different from others you have been in, because when it comes to your original characters, you are encouraged not to OOCly tell other people all about their background/secrets/etc.  I'm going to run this as much like a tabletop campaign as possible without bogging it down in rules and mechanics, but the act of being surprised along with your characters, ICly and OOCly, is an essential part of the fun in that!  This is why all apps are screened, btw.  

However, there are things that would be obvious off your character off the bat, so feel free to talk about any of those things / their surface personality / appearance / skills / etc!  And you can use this post to share any other info you think would be useful for others to know about the way you like to game / your time zone / etc.  :)  

I am INCREDIBLY EXCITED ABOUT THIS, GUYS.  And ask you to be open and communicative with me on any questions you might have that crop up as we go along.  \o\

Eeeeeeeeyyyyyyy. Wassup everybody, my name's Markayam, and I'm the noob! (Polite laughter is appropriate at this point but getting snarky may be going too far.) I'm familiar with Tabletop gaming / DnD rules, but am pretty new to the whole RP scene. This jumping of mediums from tabletop to text-based is brought to you by Tessa *glares* who finally convinced me to join KoL!

I'm a goofball at heart, so I've chosen to play as the only guy who can be a sarcastic goob at one moment, and then kill 5 robots in the same scene. The regular human who decided using a bow and arrow next to gods and supersoldiers was a good idea. You know, the Hawkguy:


Honestly, I'm out of my element here. I'm a vocal-based interaction guy (see: Collab Youtube channel I do with some friends Feel free to sigh along to my #1 solo accomplishment), so these text-based shenanigans are going to be a fun challenge for me! I'm looking forward to meeting all these crazy people I keep hearing about and joining in on the fun shenanigans debauchery adventures!

hiiiiiiiiii WELCOME i'm emma and i play like.... 87 people around here. maybe... slightly less than 87, but 87 is close! i play: abigail, alice, amy, ella, gus, kali, lila, thea, vi, and winter. i don't have a problem, shhh. also vi and thea are archers, so that's a thing of note! he will have tiny archer bros!
