Well, since the game officially opens as of Tuesday -> Wednesday at midnight EST, I figured I would put this up now, so we have a chance to do introductions! Rather than having everyone make an individual OOC post, I thought we could do it all in one get-to-know-each-other post like this.

For one, this game may be different from others you have been in, because when it comes to your original characters, you are encouraged not to OOCly tell other people all about their background/secrets/etc. I'm going to run this as much like a tabletop campaign as possible without bogging it down in rules and mechanics, but the act of being surprised along with your characters, ICly and OOCly, is an essential part of the fun in that! This is why all apps are screened, btw.

However, there are things that would be obvious off your character off the bat, so feel free to talk about any of those things / their surface personality / appearance / skills / etc! And you can use this post to share any other info you think would be useful for others to know about the way you like to game / your time zone / etc. :)

Hi! I'm Emily #3 (????? I think???) but feel free to call me Em or 'hey you' or whatever. I respond to just about anything. I'm bringing in one of the main characters from The Cassandra Palmer Series. It's pretty obscure so don't feel bad if you've never heard of it. I have her app in her journal here and I'm working on putting together an actual in-depth history for her from the series. It's just a little tedious. She's coming in from the end of the 4th book and just finished defeating a god and saving the world while not dying for like the 18th time. Go her.

Back in her canon she's Chief Seer aka Pythia and can do some pretty spiffy things. Powers and such are in her app and I look forward to her possibly getting actual training on how to use them because lol that hasn't happened for her yet. She's also kind of married to a vampire, not that she actually agreed to it or remembers it here. It's fine. It's all just fine.
