Well, since the game officially opens as of Tuesday -> Wednesday at midnight EST, I figured I would put this up now, so we have a chance to do introductions!  Rather than having everyone make an individual OOC post, I thought we could do it all in one get-to-know-each-other post like this.  

For one, this game may be different from others you have been in, because when it comes to your original characters, you are encouraged not to OOCly tell other people all about their background/secrets/etc.  I'm going to run this as much like a tabletop campaign as possible without bogging it down in rules and mechanics, but the act of being surprised along with your characters, ICly and OOCly, is an essential part of the fun in that!  This is why all apps are screened, btw.  

However, there are things that would be obvious off your character off the bat, so feel free to talk about any of those things / their surface personality / appearance / skills / etc!  And you can use this post to share any other info you think would be useful for others to know about the way you like to game / your time zone / etc.  :)  

I am INCREDIBLY EXCITED ABOUT THIS, GUYS.  And ask you to be open and communicative with me on any questions you might have that crop up as we go along.  \o\

Hello game-mates. I am Jess bakerhound bakerhound and I have just been accepted to join your ranks come February 1st! I am a Bio student in University and an occasional actual tabletop gamer! (I miss you, RAGE) who is very excited to be here.

Tybalt is an OC of mine and while I won't spoil much I will say he was raised on a similar code to the knight's code that he, on occasion, messes up because of his pride. He's prickly, makes bad first impressions and likes sword duels and drinking. Do hit him. I mean... do poke at him and play with him because I am really looking forward to playing with as many of you as I can whenever I can!

Hello! I'm Alli and I am so happy to see you :) This game is my favorite thing so anytime we get new players, it feels like we're adding to the one big happy family :D

I currently have three kiddos running around here. There's Myri who is the character for this journal. She's from a series of books called The Dragon Nimbus History. She's a witchwoman/cleric type. I also play Faye Chamberlain from the Secret Circle books (seeing a trend?). Faye is a witch/sorceress gal. And then I have an OC named Thoster who is a bard/pirate.
