Well, since the game officially opens as of Tuesday -> Wednesday at midnight EST, I figured I would put this up now, so we have a chance to do introductions!  Rather than having everyone make an individual OOC post, I thought we could do it all in one get-to-know-each-other post like this.  

For one, this game may be different from others you have been in, because when it comes to your original characters, you are encouraged not to OOCly tell other people all about their background/secrets/etc.  I'm going to run this as much like a tabletop campaign as possible without bogging it down in rules and mechanics, but the act of being surprised along with your characters, ICly and OOCly, is an essential part of the fun in that!  This is why all apps are screened, btw.  

However, there are things that would be obvious off your character off the bat, so feel free to talk about any of those things / their surface personality / appearance / skills / etc!  And you can use this post to share any other info you think would be useful for others to know about the way you like to game / your time zone / etc.  :)  

I am INCREDIBLY EXCITED ABOUT THIS, GUYS.  And ask you to be open and communicative with me on any questions you might have that crop up as we go along.  \o\

'ello. My name is Brooke. You kil... what? [Bonus points if you got that reference.] and I have never ever... EVER played tabletop before which I am already beginning to see was a bad life choice for me. Please bear with me while I muddle through working out what on earth I am doing.

I play (for now...) Rose Hathaway of Vampire Academy fame. She's a Dhampir with a healthy bunch of issues, the ability to sense the undead annnd see ghosts. Her life is amazing. Clearly. She's nice? When she's not being abbrasive or a smartass. She also comes through the veil with very few memories of her life before that.

Hi! I'm Alli and I'm super stoked to see new people joining this wonderful gaaaaame.

I play four kiddos around these parts. This journal here is for Myrilandel who is from a trilogy of books called The Dragon Nimbus History. She's a witchwoman/cleric type :) I have another book character in Faye Charmberlain from The Secret Circle books. And then my OC Thoster the bard is around, as well as Prince Charming from Once Upon a Time

Whenever I see Book Characters in games I get stupidly excited! I know Secret Circle (The books) but now feel an overwhelming need to hunt down the Dragon Nimbus History. Off course who doesn't know Mr. Nolan (and I will now stalk your OC in a completely non-creepy way I swear...)

It was honestly the easiest enable ever. I was sent the game page, fell in love with the wonderfully detailed world and well come on. Knights. It had me at Knights.

Meet Alex! She's from that show that was on the CW that was a remake of an adaptation that was a lot like that other show with Secret Government Agents Alias. For something completely different! Alex has been AUed into the wonderful world of KoL, so no veilnesia for her, but a lot of crazy other things going on.

If your character has picked up a paper some time in the last year then they might recognize her as the daughter of a Russian Oligarch who went missing for 9 years then turned up at a press conference and announced to the world who thought she was dead that... yeah, not so much. (Think a modernization of Anastasia.)

What she's been doing in that time? If you've ever seen Nikita you probably have a good idea. If you haven't? Well this should be fun.

Frankie is a human Knight who has transferred from Australia - thus the oh so literal username... She's a member of the Dragon Hoard and I went crazy on Prestige classes which FYI - are pretty awesome. Speed Demon classes which is basically just... The Fast and The Furious in D&D.

Chances are if you've worked front desk you've spoken to her mother. Chances are if you're male and you've worked front desk then you've spoken to her mother and... she's tried to play matchmaker from across the pond.
