Well, since the game officially opens as of Tuesday -> Wednesday at midnight EST, I figured I would put this up now, so we have a chance to do introductions!  Rather than having everyone make an individual OOC post, I thought we could do it all in one get-to-know-each-other post like this.  

For one, this game may be different from others you have been in, because when it comes to your original characters, you are encouraged not to OOCly tell other people all about their background/secrets/etc.  I'm going to run this as much like a tabletop campaign as possible without bogging it down in rules and mechanics, but the act of being surprised along with your characters, ICly and OOCly, is an essential part of the fun in that!  This is why all apps are screened, btw.  

However, there are things that would be obvious off your character off the bat, so feel free to talk about any of those things / their surface personality / appearance / skills / etc!  And you can use this post to share any other info you think would be useful for others to know about the way you like to game / your time zone / etc.  :)  

I am INCREDIBLY EXCITED ABOUT THIS, GUYS.  And ask you to be open and communicative with me on any questions you might have that crop up as we go along.  \o\

This journal is for Myrilandel who is a witchwoman/healer type. I also play a bard named Thoster, a witch named Faye, a fighter type named David (who is actually Prince Charming if you are a Once Upon a Time fan), and a computer geek named Andrew.

Wow,5 characters! I'm impressed. I look forward to interacting with at least some of them. (Soo-Jin is the daughter of a bard and would be happy to meet Thoster for that reason alone. Then again, she's pretty much thrilled to meet everyone at first.)
